The 2024 St. Herman Calendar is dedicated to Orthodoxy in Persia.

The lead article provides an overview of the history of Christianity in Persia (now known as Iran), beginning with the pre-Christian era, followed by the Parthian period, when hundreds of Orthodox churches were established, and continuing into the Sasanian period, during which great numbers of Christians bore witness to their faith in Christ through martyrdom. Also included in the 2024 Calendar are brief biographies of some of the saints who illumined Persia with the light of Christ.
